Class Description

What does the Constitution say about voting rights?  Who could vote when the Constitution was ratified?  How have voting rights change since the origin of the U.S.?  How do the voter suppression laws today compare to voting rights laws in other periods of U. S. history?  How can we keep our democracy safe and working, with all of the challenges to it today?
